Reverse Graffiti

Seen on Pinterest How-to blogging website  (http://trendland.net/new-trend-the-eco-graffiti/)  I want to borrow this woman's idea to use  natural materials as a means of presenting text.  I want "tag" trees that people have carved initials and other things into.  It is interesting to see the marked dates that people have scribed into trees of all types, but particularly the aspen groves in the area where Basque sheepherders made their trails in the early 1900's.  I want to beautify the scars left on the timeless tree bodies.

I found this other really great site that advocates environmentally conscious art, activities, fashion, inventions, contests and much more.  Much of the art pieces that are shown are very related to a lot of the art we talk about in my 404 class.  Is fabulous.

Flyer art

I saw this one outside the Raleys Supermarket off California, very timely.  Its a wonderful thing to have your eyes opened by creative classes.

As assignment in my Art in public Places class, we were assigned to use words as a means to reach an audience in a simple way.  We were asked to post our words somewhere in the community, I chose to post them in the art building stairwells.  More on the way.

Snow Melting Project idea

This idea was inspired by a link a friend of mine shared with me on Facebook a few weeks ago.  My idea is to create a stencil and place it in front of a light source to then have heat from a power source melt a shape around the stencil in the snow, similar to how the light is acting in the images below if you follow the link.
Still trouble shooting ideas.
Any thoughts?

Chamberland Brainchild Project

In hopeful brainstorm to create a project in the Reno/Sparks community, I hope to use these chambers of mysterious substance as a canvas for a digital media collaboration.  Still troubleshooting how something like this could potentially take form.  Any words of advice or ideas greatly appreciated.
